The luxurious New Touareg offers even more for those seeking a premium 4x4. Sporting a striking restyle for its launch in March 2007, including updated headlights, distinctive grille, front wings and bumper.

The New Touareg combines class-leading levels of on-road comfort and performance with outstanding off-road capabilities, now available to order.

 

This great all-rounder can tow 3.5 tonnes, ford water up to half a metre deep* and climb slopes of 45 degrees, thanks to a host of all-terrain solutions.

Intelligent safety features include the advanced new ABSplus system, which can cut braking distances by 20 per cent on rough ground. While the improved Electronic Stability Programme (ESP) now offers Active Rollover Protection (ARP), rain brake support and under-steer control logic for sharper turning performance.

Phaeton

 

In a transparent factory in Dresden, workers wearing white gloves carefully assemble Volkswagen's new luxury saloon.

 

The Phaeton has everything you'd expect from a car in this class. It pushes the boundaries of refinement. And is outstandingly built. But, the Phaeton also has a few things you wouldn't expect.

 

The powerful 6-litre W12 engine propels the car to 62 mph in 6.1 seconds and, where the law permits, reaches 150 mph (limited). And yet it remains silky smooth because our engineers have found new ways to minimise even the slightest vibration.

 

There are around 100 patents integrated into the new Phaeton. In fact, the only feature you'll recognise is the Volkswagen logo.
